AMRAP: As Many Reps (sometimes Rounds) as Possible

Box: CrossFit gyms are typically referred to as a ‘box’ because they are traditionally located in industrial warehouses

C&J: Clean and Jerk

Hero workouts: Some CrossFit benchmark workouts that are named after actual military, law enforcement and firefighters that have died in the line of duty. These workouts are typically very difficult as a way of honoring these heroes.

KB: Kettlebell — type of weight

K2E: Knees to Elbows

MetCon: Metabolic Conditioning workout

OHS: Overhead Squat

PR: Personal Record

Rep: Repetition. One performance of an exercise

Rx’d: WOD done exactly as it is programmed

Scaling: modifying weight and/or movement

T2B: Toes to Bar

WOD: Workout of the day
