Adult Group Classes
If the typical gym environment feels anti-social and too unstructured for you, then our fun group classes are just what you’re looking for. You’ll get a full body workout from performing functional, varied movements at high intensity, scaled to your level.
The workouts are always different, always challenging and you’ll be amazed at what you are capable of achieving. Your coach will make sure you’re executing all movements correctly and safely and will suggest any adjustments.
All workouts have two levels:
Performance: Designed for more experienced athletes who are comfortable with all CrossFit movements.
Fitness: Designed for newer athletes who haven’t perfected the high-skill movements.
Group class format:
– Warm up
– Coach explains the WOD (Workout of the Day) and reviews the barbell movements
– 1st part of workout: Skill and/or strength work
– 2nd part of workout: The WOD (usually cardio-based)
– Cool down
Hook’d Sweat is a 45 minute class designed to build strength and burn calories fast. This class combines metabolic and endurance training and we promise, you will SWEAT!
Barbell club is a one-hour class designed to supplement your CrossFit training. Each week focuses on an Olympic weightlifting movement or technique to help improve your performance. All skill levels are welcome.
CrossFit Hook’d feels like one big, happy family. And with big families come lots of kids!
We offer FREE childcare for many of our busiest classes in our safe, clean childcare room. It’s in the front of the gym – so even if they need you, you’re only steps away. And if your children are old enough to be left unattended, they are welcome to hang out there as well.
Kids Group Classes
Our Hook’d Kids programs can have a positive impact on your child’s physical and emotional well-being, as well as their academic achievement. We offer 10-class punch cards and look forward to seeing your child weekly so they can get to know their coaches, teammates and most importantly have FUN!
Hook’d Minis: 3 – 4 years old
Hook’d Minis classes are a great way for pre-school age kids to release their energy while also building their cognitive skills. Through fun and inclusive games, kids learn basic functional movements (sit-ups, squats and push-ups), teamwork and responsibility.
Hook’d Kids: Kindergarten – 4th grade
Hook’d Kids classes help build confidence through fun group fitness games and activities, and are designed for kids of all abilities and experience. Kids learn to safely execute body weight movements (sit-ups, squats and pullups) and develop and strengthen skills such as pushing, running, climbing, throwing and jumping.
Hook’d Tweens: 5th – 8th grade
Building on the same principles as Hook’d Kids, Hook’d Tweens takes it to the next level. Tweens learn to safely execute body weight movements (sit-ups, squats and pullups) and will work on barbell movements and strength training in a fun and non-competitive environment.
* Hook’d Kids is NOT a prerequisite for Hook’d Tweens
